Overall – I am LOVING this colour and am so glad I picked it up! Mac Del Rio ($22 CDN) is a permanent shade in their Satin line and is available at Mac counters and stores as well as online at maccosmetics.ca.Beauty Trends you need on your radar for 2022! It wore for about 5 hours perfectly, but then I had to judge a chili cookoff so by the end of it, it was pretty patchy. (It is described on the Mac site as a “muted plum-brown.”) The satin finish means there’s a bit of shine, and I found this lipstick was relatively moisturizing.
This is the Mac Satin lipstick in “Del Rio” – basically a plummy shade that is casual enough for everyday but has a bit more impact than just your regular MLBB.
This was the closest one I found, and even though it seems slightly less purple than Erin, I LOVE this colour. Unfortunately, the Maybelline Gigi Hadid lipstick in Erin was sold out everywhere I went (I don’t even know who Gigi Hadid is exactly because I’m not hip) and so I started trying to find a shade that was similar based on the swatches online.
